Lindsay Maxwell Charitable Fund/USHJA Emerging Athletes Program Kicks Off in Nevada

Reno, Nevada -- May 25, 2018 -- An exciting summer of EAP Regional Training Sessions is set to kick off next week, May 31-June 4, in Reno, Nevada, for the Lindsay Maxwell Charitable Fund/USHJA Emerging Athletes Program. 

The first Regional Training Session of the year will feature Jim Wofford as the riding clinician and Nanci Snyder as the stable manager clinician at Maplewood Stables.

Sessions are held over five days with athletes participating in mounted flatwork, gymnastics exercises and coursework as well as intensive stable management lessons. Athletes also spend time auditing and hearing special presentations from guest speakers and experts in the industry at the sessions. 

Auditing is available to the public for the riding portions of the Reno session for $50 a day. 

There will be nine other Regional Training Sessions this year in California, Colorado, Georgia, Illinois, New Jersey, Ohio, Texas and Virginia. To view the calendar of the sessions, click here.

Following the Regional Training Sessions, 16 of the Regional Training Session participants and a select number of stable managers will be invited to attend the National Training Session Nov. 8-11 at University of Findlay in Ohio.
