"What a wonderful Maplewood Awards Dinner we had at Toyiabe Golf Club on January 28th! Thanks to everyone who came and made it a special evening!" said Maplewood CEO Julie Winkel, who graciously hosted the banquet in classic style.

Maplewood, which celebrated its 40th anniversary in 2017, is one of the few show stables that hosts a private awards banquet for clients and students each year. In addition to beautiful perpetual trophies and plaques--many decorated with decades of engraved names--the banquet also included series awards for the 2017 Maplewood Fun Shows as well as entertaining "Dumb-Ass" Awards highlighting those memories and moments some would like to forget!

The Maplewood Fun Series Winners Included:

  • Novice Division—Champion: Emily Anderson and Reserve Champion: Wynette Helsel
  • Equitation Division—Chapion: Marlee Comba and Reserve Champion: Devina Stone
  • Hunter Division—Champion: Mac Daddy and Marlee Comba and Reserve Champion: Outspoken and Lisa Trujillo
